Mark Rochester was sneaking into the all time favorite shop of thieves; Diana’s Diamonds. His boss, Peter Paige, wanted to have the biggest diamond ever; The Crystal, people called it. Mark was to find it in the largest vault that not even employees touch.
He had never done such a big heist before, but his boss thought Mark was the best robber on the team. Well, not to mention he was the only one on the team.
He only worked for Peter Paige because of- ching, ching; money. His boss had millions of dollars to spare to his servants, as for not even offices give that much.
Mark didn’t want to steal but for his own purpose he did. He was trying to find a different job, but alas, he couldn’t find any. He was a kind person, but in a difficult position. Anyways…
Mark pulled out his screwdriver to break open the lock on the entrance door. After he was in, he clicked on his flashlight.
He didn’t know where to start, so he did something thieves shouldn’t do; look at the map near the counter.
In this shop, people called the vault Mark was looking for “The Big Vault”
Take a left and then a right, Mark noted in his mind. He silently tiptoed left then right, appearing The Big Vault.
The lock was tough to open, hence a screwdriver couldn’t open it. A hammer should do it, thought Mark. He lunged the hammer through the door, making steel shatter everywhere. No one was there to see, but security cameras were.
Mark could hear police sirens wailing in the distance. He quickly jumped in the door, looking for The Crystal.
Until he saw the most beautiful thing ever…The Crystal! It shimmered in the moonlight, looking so glorious and beautiful. He quickly opened it up and held it within his cold, bare hands.
“Hands up!” said the police officer, who had just now lunged into the room. Mark raised his hands, until he heard glass shattering on to the floor. Whoops.
Mark Rochester broke The Crystal.
He was taken to the police station, thrown into a cell. His money had all been given to Diana’s Diamonds.
Mark chose his own path in his life hence, he paid the price.
